Trying To Conceive

If you feel you suffer from male infertility, or are trying to conceive the Fertility Test pack contains a Fertility Score Male Fertility Test, a Babystart Female Fertility Test, Five Ovulation tests and Five Pregnancy tests .

The Fertility Score measure measures a man's sperm concentration and motility, while the Babystart measures a woman’s FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) level. Our Ovulation Test allows you to predict when you ovulate and helps you detect when you are most fertile. Our Home Pregnancy test is an extremely accurate way of testing for early pregnancy, and will detect pregnancy between 6 and 15 days after fertilisation.

All of our test kits are very each to use and provide results of male infertility  within minutes. For a detailed Description of each of the products in the Fertility pack please continue reading.

Babystart Female Fertility Test (2 Test Kits)

A woman's fertility starts to decline after she gets to 30, the hormone FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) is intimately involved with a woman's fertility and rising levels tend to be associated with reduced fertility. This hormone can be raised in women with irregular periods and will steadily rise as a woman gets older. As menopause approaches the levels get particularly high and acts as an early warning system.

This Babystart™ home diagnostic screening test is a rapid test of FSH concentration in urine. With this test a negative result is good news, although it’s not proof of fertility. A positive test result suggests your fertility is reduced and we recommend that you see your doctor.

How does the test work?

Remove the cap and hold the absorbent tip in your urine stream for 10-15 seconds. Then lay the test flat and read the results after five minutes.

How accurate is the test?

The Baby Start Female Fertility Test kit is extremely accurate. It has been tested at an International Level and holds CE marking. One of the best aides in trying  to conceive

What comes with the test?

Fertility Score Male fertility Test (2 Test Kits)

The Fertility Score™ is a revolutionary male fertility test that determines weather a man will have problems having a baby with his partner due to a problem with sperm. Uniquely the Fertility Score™ measures a man’s sperm concentration and sperm motility giving a much better overall picture when trying to conceive than any other products available worldwide. Sperm motility refers to the ability of sperm to move around – a major factor in the sperms ability to achieve fertilisation. This is a product is a must for couples who are trying to conceive as it can save months of trying and comes at a price which is easily affordable to every couple.

Consider these advantages

  • Reveal whether treatment is necessary – immediately
  • Gives a Truer Picture of Male Inertility measuring motility & concentration
  • Saves months of trying for a baby
  • No embarrassing situations – from the comfort of your own home!
  • Much cheaper than attending a fertility clinic
  • Extremely accurate and easy to use

How does the test work?

The FertilityScore™ test will tell you whether the sperm concentration in the test sample is below 20 million/mL motile sperm (negative test) or above 20 million/mL motile sperm (positive test). The World Health Organization standard for a fertile male is above 20 million/mL motile sperm. The FertilityScore™ Home Screening Test is also unique in that is uses the whole sample to determine male fertility. Other tests use only a small portion of the ejaculate which can lead to inaccurate results due to clumping and cellular debris in the sample. You may have 60 million/ml sperm, but if the motility is 0% then the FertilityScore results will read negative. A key element to male fertility is the number of motile (live) sperm. FertilityScore's ability to differentiate motile from non-motile sperm is a unique feature of these kits.

How accurate is the test?

Clinical Studies using FertilityScore™ have indicated a 93% positive predictive power for semen samples containing 20 million or more motile sperm per ml. A 90% negative predictive power was found for samples containing 10 million motile sperm or less per ml. Thus FertilityScore ™ is a highly effective screening test for male fertility potential, and the only on-site test to measure only motile sperm*

What comes with the test?

The FertilityScore™ Home Diagnostic Screening Test kit contains everything you need to collect and test two separate semen samples for sperm concentration and sperm motility

Why bother testing for male fertility?

The latest statistics suggest that about a third of couples having difficulty conceiving will be diagnosed as 'male-factor infertility’. In another third of cases there will be problems 'on both sides', so it's vitally important that couples have their fertility investigated together.

Ovulation Test (Five Test Kits)

Our Ovulation Test allows you to predict when you ovulate - which is the time you're most likely to become pregnant! The test measures Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in your urine and detects the LH surge that happens in the middle of your menstrual cycle. LH is the hormone that facilitates ovulation (the release of the egg). When you detect your LH surge, you know you are most fertile. Our Ovulation Test is extremely easy to use and is a very cost effective way of giving you and your partner the best chance of becoming pregnant.

How the test works

This is urine based test kit to measure Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in your urine. This helps detect the LH surge that happens in the middle of your menstrual cycle, about 1-1½ days before ovulation. Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is a hormone produced by your pituitary gland. Your body always makes a small amount of LH, but just before you ovulate, you make much more LH. This test can detect this LH surge, which usually happens 1-1½ days before you ovulate. The test is performed as below however much more detailed & easy to understand instructions are provided with the kit

Why should I use Ovulation Tests?

Whether you are the very beginning of your trying to conceive journey or well on your way, using ovulation test kits will help you understand how your body works. Finding out exactly when your body releases an egg from your ovary, ovulation, will help you pin point your most fertile time of the month. Two days in your cycle, the day before ovulation and the day of ovulation are when you are most likely to become pregnant.

Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is always present in human urine. LH increases dramatically just before women's most fertile day of the month in a process commonly referred to as the "LH Surge" This LH increase triggers ovulation, which means an egg is released from woman's ovary.

Pregnancy Test (Five test Kits)

Our Home pregnancy test offer a simple and extremely accurate way of testing for early pregnancy - great for couples who want to find out quickly if they are pregnant. With a high sensitivity of 25 mIU/mL, our pregnancy test strips are for detecting pregnancy between 6 and 15 days after fertilization of the egg. Our Pregnancy Test is 5 times as sensitive as the Clear Blue Chemist brand and we bring it to you at a fraction of the cost.

How does the test work?

Our Home pregnancy test is a urine based test. If your egg was fertilised by your partners sperm, the fertilised egg will travel into the uterus and implant in the uterine lining. When this occurs, the fertilized egg then starts secreting the pregnancy hormone called human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG). HCG can be found in your urine as early as 6 days past ovulation. Our Very sensitive home pregnancy tests can detect your pregnancy at 6 and 15 days past ovulation.

How accurate is the test?

Our Pregnancy Tests are tested to 99.9% accuracy and hold full CE marking. With a high sensitivity of 20 mIU/mL, our pregnancy test strips are for detecting pregnancy between 6 and 15 days after fertilization of the egg.

When should I use this pregnancy Test?

You can improve your chances when trying to conceive for an accurate result by using your first morning urine for the test. If you are pregnant, it will have more hCG in it than later urines. If you think you are pregnant, but your first test was negative, you can take the test again after several days. Since the amount of hCG increases rapidly when you are pregnant, you may get a positive test on later days. You can use our test kit to test for pregnancy within 6 days of intercourse.
