Alcolimit is a single use disposable qualitative screening test which measures BAC (Blood Alcohol Content). The Alcolimit is calibrated to the legal driving limit in the UK. A simple colour change will indicate to the user whether or not they are over the limit and therefore unfit to drive. It is very difficult for user to calculate there alcohol intake as drink strengthened and measures vary widely, as do individuals rates of alcohol metabolism. In addition there are many factors which effect alcohol absorption.
